The analysis of adolescent and unmarried young adult rural urban migrants, conducted from 2000 2003, included survey interviews with over 800 Igbo talking rural metropolitan migrants in 2 Nigerian urban centers, along with in level unstructured interviews with 40 among these migrants. In addition, with the aid of a more youthful research that is unmarried, I performed many months of participant observation in metropolitan venues where teenagers are used, where they’re going to college, where they look for activity, and where they tend to meet up with and socialize with regards to intimate lovers. Much of what I find out about the views and behavior of young women that are unmarried with this research, but in addition from several years of getting together with Nigerians in a selection of informal contexts.
In specific, we observed countless scenes where the greater general public facets of so named sugar daddy relationships unfold.
In the last 2 full decades, we experienced ratings of conversations with unmarried women whom accompany hitched guys to pubs, eateries, and clubs that are social.
